Early morning thieves caught on camera checking vehicles and stealing milk in Urmston

CCTV caught a couple of suspected thieves stealing a doorstep delivery of milk from at least two houses and checking vehicles on Roseneath Road in Urmston.

The crooks struck in the early hours of Tuesday morning at 5.30 am.

The door step thief wore a black baseball cap with a red Manchester United logo, dark top, dark pants and was carrying a teal coloured shopping bag.

A woman who was with the man was also spotted on CCTV checking car doors on the same street, she was wearing a scarf, dark coloured top, light pants and brown boots .

The footage was shared on Facebook to the Urmston M41’ers group which has over 33 thousand members.

One of the members reported seeing the couple with a black car parked round the corner from Roseneath Road on Grosvenor Road and were placing items in the boot shortly after.

Anyone with information about the suspects  is asked to call police on 101.

CCTV shows sneaky thief stealing a woman’s phone in broad daylight

A crafty thief used a ruse involving leaflets to steal a woman’s phone.

It is believed the sneaky thief held leaflets over the victims mobile phone while it was left on the table before picking it up and calmly walking out of the restaurant without anybody realising what had happened.

The theft happened at the North Star Deli in Chorlton on Saturday afternoon and the footage was shared on the Chorlton Facebook page in a bid to raise awareness.

Report of a man checking cars at 4.30am in Urmston

A resident checked his notifications from his CCTV and discovered a male had been checking vehicles in the Royston Rd/Sherborne Rd area of Urmston at 4.30 this morning.

He was also spotted at 5.10am around the Skye Road/Shetland Way area.

The male was described as wearing grey bottoms dark grey hoody or top with black trainers and carrying a rucksack.

The incident was first reported on the Urmston M41’ers Facebook page.

A man walked into a bike shed on Talbot Rd in Old Trafford and stolen a womens Carrera bike using bolt cutters he was carrying inside his rucksack.

The theft happened on Talbot Road, Old Trafford on new years day at 10.30pm and was captured on the buildings CCTV camera. The theft has been reported to the police.

Chilling Ring video shows attempted break-in in Sale

A Ring doorbell camera captures the moment when three men attempted to break into a home in Sale, Trafford.

This is the second time the home was targeted this month, only this time the home owner had beefed up security with a doorbell camera.

It happened early in the morning, just before 7am on Friday 27th November on Dumber Lane. 

In the video the three men can be seen running away from the property and moments later reflection of car lights can be seen as they make their escape in a red vehicle, possibly an Audi and drove in the direction on Gleblands Road.
