A victim who had her parcel stolen form the doorstep has shared Images of a thief who stolen the package from right outside her home near to Broad Rd, central Sale.

The images, taken from CCTV footage, were shared on the Sale M33 Facebook group which has 24k members.

Group members commented on the post with some people pointing out his resemblance to John Bishop.

Suspected burglar from Sale arrested after seen jumping from window

Police responded to a burglary in progress on Wednesday (5th January). Officers from GMP Trafford South responded to reports of a burglary in progress on Brooklands road to assist officers from Wythenshawe police station

The suspect, named by police as Carl Leather of Conway road, Sale was arrested after he was seen jumping from a first floor window of the property in attempt to evade police officers.

Following a short foot pursuit through neighbouring gardens the suspect was eventually detained by officers and found to be in possession of jewellery taken from the property.

Mr Leather, who was previously jailed for 3 years for a burglary from an address in Sale in 2013 was remanded into custody to appear at Manchester magistrates today (06/01/2022) where he has been further remanded to Manchester Crown Court on 10/02/2022.

Ford Fiesta stolen from Sale

A blue Ford Fiesta was stolen on Monday from an address in Sale.

The vehicle registration is AO71 GNF and was stolen from Roebuck Lane in Sale in the early hours on Monday 27th December.

Back window of  car smashed in afternoon theft

A car was broken into yesterday (Monday 8th November) at around 1.30pm in Sale.

The theft occurred outside Worthington Park on Broad road close to the gates to the park whilst the owner was walking her dogs.

The back window was smashed and a handbag was stolen from the boot.

The bag contained sentimental items and is similar to the one pictured below.

Please keep a look out in the area and hopefully we can reunited the owner with the sentimental items.

The bright coloured Rockrider mountain bike was pinched from Chestnut Drive on Saturday 2nd October at 9.25pm.

Thieves have stolen a white Vauxhall Corsa from Sale.

The car, a white Vauxhall Corsa limited edition registration SK65 VTG was stolen from an address on Cedar Rd in Sale between Tuesday evening (20/07) and Wednesday morning (21/07).

Video from a Ring doorbell shows two suspects around 3.20am on nearby Manor Avenue on a driveway before running away on Wednesday morning (21st July).

One arrested after vehicle stolen from Sale was left under CCTV camera in Longsight

A vehicle that was stolen from the Sale are was located in Longsight displaying false plates.

The stolen red mini was located having parked under a CCTV camera which had fortunately filmed the driver parking the car up and then walking to his house.

The driver, who only held a provisional driving licence, was located thanks to the CCTV footage and arrested.

Details of the arrest were posted to the GMP traffic Twitter account yesterday evening.

4am Intruder spotted in Sale back garden

A suspicious male has been caught on camera in a back garden at 4am this morning.

The man had entered the garden by climbing over the fence on Dalebrook Road in Sale.

In the footage he can be seen using a torch to look around the garden before climbing over the fence.

The house was previously targeted last year when bikes were stolen from the shed but CCTV had since been installed.

Vandal caught on camera keying owners name onto car before returning to damage van

A vandal was caught on camera damaging a car before returning minutes later to damage the van parked next to it.

The CCTV footage was shared online in a bid to identify the offender

The person was first captured on CCTV on Firs Road in Sale wearing a blue hooded top at 3.50am on Saturday morning (19th June). The vandal then approaches the vehicle and scratches the owners name on it before running off.

The suspect then returns minutes later but this time on a bike before scratching the car again but this time also vandalises the owners fathers van which was parked behind.

The victim shared the video on Facebook and the post was shared on the M33 Community and Crime Facebook page.

She wrote “Does anyone know who this boy is? on Friday night at 3:51am in the morning he came to my house and scratched my name into my car… its very worrying as i have no idea who this could be what so ever.”

“At 4:10am in the morning he came back on a bike and scratched my dads van. he is seen to be wearing a blue coat with black the chest of it and black pants. would really appreciate it if everyone could share this post and help us find out who it was as this is causing me a lot of worry! please take a look at the cctv. please share🙏🏼

Man caught ‘acting suspiciously’ on Ring doorbell camera in Sale

Residents have been warned to keep their valuables secure after a man was spotted acting suspiciously outside a home on Park House Drive off Northenden Road in Sale.

The incident happened at around 2.22am on Tuesday (15th June).

The man can be seen looking into a vehicle and searching around the door area before pulling out a torch and shining it into the car.

The footage was shared on the M33 Community And Crime facebook page to raise awareness and the comments suggest that the same man was spotted checking vehicles and doors in the Altrincham area last night (17th June).
