CCTV shows sneaky thief stealing a woman’s phone in broad daylight

A crafty thief used a ruse involving leaflets to steal a woman’s phone.

It is believed the sneaky thief held leaflets over the victims mobile phone while it was left on the table before picking it up and calmly walking out of the restaurant without anybody realising what had happened.

The theft happened at the North Star Deli in Chorlton on Saturday afternoon and the footage was shared on the Chorlton Facebook page in a bid to raise awareness.

Thieves steal coronavirus victims car

A Kia Sportage belonging to a couple that passed away from Covid-19 has been stolen from Chorlton.

The stolen car has a distinctive reg YAZ 447

Details of the theft were shared on the Chorlton Facebook page earlier today by the victims daughter.
