CCTV footage of the theft
CCTV footage has been shared on social media which shows the moment a man stole a bicycle from a garden in Sale.
The bright coloured Rockrider mountain bike was pinched from Chestnut Drive on Saturday 2nd October at 9.25pm.
Details of the theft were shared on Facebook.
The CCTV shows two males on a street in Brooklands checking vehicles for valuables in the early hours of 2nd August.
They can be seen throughly checking cars and even using a torch to get a good view inside.
One of the men even stolen a large bottle of milk stolen from a doorstep.
They return in a blue Ford Fiesta and smash a window to a Porche just out of camera view causing £1’800 worth of damage to the vehicle.
A suspicious person was caught on camera checking a vehicle on Milwain Road in Stretford.
The suspect can be seen checking the van door then circling it before walking off.
The incident happened at 11.23pm on 31st July.

The incident happened just after 3am this morning (29th July) on Ridgeway Road in Timperley.
A mountain bike can be seen on the floor which was used by the suspect.
Thieves have stolen a white Vauxhall Corsa from Sale.
The car, a white Vauxhall Corsa limited edition registration SK65 VTG was stolen from an address on Cedar Rd in Sale between Tuesday evening (20/07) and Wednesday morning (21/07).

Video from a Ring doorbell shows two suspects around 3.20am on nearby Manor Avenue on a driveway before running away on Wednesday morning (21st July).
The video was shared to the M33 Community And Crime Facebook group.
A suspicious male has been caught on camera in a back garden at 4am this morning.
The man had entered the garden by climbing over the fence on Dalebrook Road in Sale.
In the footage he can be seen using a torch to look around the garden before climbing over the fence.
The house was previously targeted last year when bikes were stolen from the shed but CCTV had since been installed.
The opportunist was caught on camera on Park Road near Bridgewater House in Timperley when a resident spotted the male acting suspiciously at around 1am early this morning (3rd July).
The footage was shared on Facebook this afternoon to the Timperley Community group in an effort to identify the man and raise awareness.
The man, dressed in a distinctive top with writing on the back and jogging bottoms was filmed trying car doors on Park Road before entering a car park opposite before reappearing onto the road.
He then walks into the car park to the rear of Bridgewater House
He can be seen in the footage trying the handles of cars in the hope of finding one unlocked. He is then filmed as he searched through one vehicle after the door was found to be unlocked.
Little did the man know he was actually doing this whilst being filmed by the concerned resident, who captured the man on camera and had called the police.
The police did attend shortly after but was unable to locate the man.

Police will direct resources to try to detect the offender(s) if sufficient reports are received. Unless these incidents are reported, then it is perceived that there is no issue.
The video footage will hopefully assist in identifying this offender.

Mountain bike stolen from Cross Street in Sale in afternoon theft
CCTV caught a couple of suspected thieves stealing a doorstep delivery of milk from at least two houses and checking vehicles on Roseneath Road in Urmston.
The crooks struck in the early hours of Tuesday morning at 5.30 am.

The door step thief wore a black baseball cap with a red Manchester United logo, dark top, dark pants and was carrying a teal coloured shopping bag.
A woman who was with the man was also spotted on CCTV checking car doors on the same street, she was wearing a scarf, dark coloured top, light pants and brown boots .
The footage was shared on Facebook to the Urmston M41’ers group which has over 33 thousand members.
One of the members reported seeing the couple with a black car parked round the corner from Roseneath Road on Grosvenor Road and were placing items in the boot shortly after.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call police on 101.
Three masked thugs were spotted on Ring video doorbell footage trying to gain entry to a property in Timperley.
The attempt happened just after 3am on Sunday morning (27th June).
There were reports on social media that the group had also been spotted on Westwood Avenue, Park Road and Alexandra Drive.
The incident has been reported to Police.
A vandal was caught on camera damaging a car before returning minutes later to damage the van parked next to it.
The CCTV footage was shared online in a bid to identify the offender
The person was first captured on CCTV on Firs Road in Sale wearing a blue hooded top at 3.50am on Saturday morning (19th June). The vandal then approaches the vehicle and scratches the owners name on it before running off.
The suspect then returns minutes later but this time on a bike before scratching the car again but this time also vandalises the owners fathers van which was parked behind.
The victim shared the video on Facebook and the post was shared on the
M33 Community and Crime Facebook page.
She wrote “Does anyone know who this boy is? on Friday night at 3:51am in the morning he came to my house and scratched my name into my car… its very worrying as i have no idea who this could be what so ever.”
“At 4:10am in the morning he came back on a bike and scratched my dads van. he is seen to be wearing a blue coat with black the chest of it and black pants. would really appreciate it if everyone could share this post and help us find out who it was as this is causing me a lot of worry! please take a look at the cctv. please share
