Police have released an image of a male following an assault in Altrincham.
The incident happened at around 9.20pm on Saturday 15 May 2021 when police were called to reports of an assault at One Central Bar on One Central Way.
The victim, a 49 year old man, had an altercation with another man who came to sit at his table. The victim was punched a number of times to the head and face causing minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment.
No arrests have been made and officers continue to investigate the incident.
An image was released by police of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the assault and a watch that was found at the scene which they believe could belong to the offender.

Neighbourhood Policing Officer Grace Tarver, Of GMP’s Trafford district, said: “This was a completely unnecessary assault on an innocent member of the public and we will not stand for such behaviour in our communities.
“Officers have carried out a number of enquiries, and as part of these we are releasing an image of a man we would like to speak to and have also located a watch which we believe may belong to the offender.
“If anyone in the local area has any information about the individual pictured, or was present at the time of the assault and has information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch has soon as possible.”
